The origins of Kiltech Inc. can be traced back to the development of the Turbocor compressor in the 1990s. Seeking to develop a more efficient alternative to the oil-lubricated compressors that dominated the refrigeration market, Turbocor was a research and development initiative that ultimately led to a magnetic-beating compressor specific to the HVAC market.
Since then, Kiltech has leveraged its expertise within the HVAC market to develop a Central Plant Energy Conservation System (CPECS), and has expanded the scope of delivery on projects, taking on the roles of consultant, turnkey contractor, service provider, and measurement and verification specialist.
